The Last Abecedarian Series

Here is a quick summary of the books I've published, along with a link to Amazon.

Violet Eyes

Maia was born with violet eyes, but never knew they had a special meaning. When she discovers magic within herself, the truth soon surfaces, and her life is changed forever. It's no coincidence that she was born with this unusual iris. It is the ancestral trait of her forefathers, a powerful family of spellcasters called the Abecedarians, who were murdered by their enemy, King Zorach of Umbragh. Maia is the last surviving heir of this ancient legacy, which means she is the last hope of fulfilling the Abecedarian prophecy. According to this foretelling, she will one day overthrow Zorach and bring peace to her people; but only if she can unlock the secrets hidden within her.

Samantha Rivera of Readers' Favorite gave Violet Eyes four out of five stars saying, "...Maia is the type of girl that any young girl wants to be. She may be quiet and shy from the start, but she’s not afraid to stand up for what she wants or what she believes in. She’s determined to right wrongs and create a good life for herself and her family. That’s something anyone reading this book can relate to and it’s something that I found intriguing as well. It’s part of what drew me in with this book. Of course, the adventure definitely doesn’t hurt matters and the fact that you don’t know what’s going to happen next makes you want to keep reading all night. Violet Eyes is most certainly the whole package."

Daughter of Aero

It's been two months since Maia found the Resistance, but not all is well. Her orisary disappeared after facing Athalea, leaving the young girl unable to fulfill the Abecedarian prophecy. But when Maia begins to have magical seizures that turn her into a danger to those around her, she knows she can't wait for her powers to return on their own. With the help of Hugoh, Rike, Gabor, and a couple of new friends, she must traverse the breadth of Madonia to seek the help of one who may be able to cure her. It is a slim chance, but it is the only hope she has of regaining her strength before Athalea attacks again.

Meanwhile, Athalea knows Maia is capable of challenging her, and Zorach is not pleased that his worst enemy has found an army to support her. Now the sorceress' life hangs in the balance if she does not kill Aeromaia Abecedarian before the girl has a chance to grow in power.
